Opening in limited release is the zombie musical Anna and the Apocalypse directed by John McPhail and starring Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, Sarah Swire, Ben Wiggins, Marli Siu, Mark Benton and Paul Kaye. Roddy Hart & Tommy Reilly have composed the film’s original music. Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs written by the composers and performed by the movie’s cast. Also opening in select U.S. theaters is release Japanese animated feature Mirai written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda and produced by Studio Chizu. Deutsche Grammophon has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this year when the movie opened overseas.
