Mark Isham has recently recorded his score for the biographical drama Bolden. The film is co-written and directed by Dan Pritzker and stars Gary Carr, Erik LaRay Harvey, Ian McShane, Breon Pugh, Reno Wilson, Yaya DaCosta and Michael Rooker. The movie tells the story of Buddy Bolden, a New Orleans cornet player who was a key figure in the development of ragtime music. Jon Cornick & Michele Tayler (Lymelife) are producing the project. Isham recorded his orchestral score on the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA. No premiere date has been announced yet for Bolden.
Isham also continues to score Freeform’s Marvel series Cloak & Dagger, which has recently been renewed for a second season.
