Mac Quayle has been tapped to score the upcoming FX original series Pose. The show is created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk & Steven Canals and stars Dominique Jackson, Mj Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Angelica Ross, Hallie Sahar, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Billy Porter, Dyllon Burnside, Evan Peters, Kate Mara and James Van Der Beek. The drama is set in the 1980s and looks at the juxtaposition of several segments of life and society in New York: the rise of the luxury Trump-era universe, the downtown social and literary scene & the ball culture world. Murphy, Falchuk & Canals are also executive producing the Fox 21 Television Studios production with Nina Jacobson (The Hunger Games) & Brad Simpson, Alexis Martin Woodall and Sherry Marsh (Vikings). Quayle has previously scored numerous projects produced by Murphy, including both seasons of American Crime Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, Scream Queens and the last couple of seasons of American Horror Story. Quayle will also return to score the eighth season of FX’s American Horror Story and continues to score USA’s Mr. Robot, which will return for its fourth season later this year.
