Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the western The Ballad of Lefty Brown. The album features the film’s original music composed by H. Scott Salinas (Birth of the Dragon, City of Ghosts, Cartel Land, Murder in the First). Also included is the original title song written and performed by Maiah Wynne. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 15, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Ballad of Lefty Brown is written, directed, and produced by Jared Moshé and stars Bill Pullman, Peter Fonda, Joseph Lee Anderson, Jim Caviezel, Tommy Flanagan and Kathy Baker. The movie is set in 1889 after Congress declared the frontier closed and follows a 63 year old sidekick who confronts the ugly realities of frontier justice. The western premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and was picked up by A24 and DirecTV for domestic distribution. The movie will be released in select theaters on December 15.
