Benjamin Wallfisch revealed in a recent interview with Collider that he is currently scoring the upcoming psychological thriller Keepers. The movie marks the feature debut of Danish director Kristoffer Nyholm (Taboo, The Killing) and stars Gerard Butler, Peter Mullan and Connor Swindells. The film tells the story of three lighthouse keepers arriving on a remote, uninhabited island for a six-week shift, who discover something potentially life-changing that isn’t theirs to keep. Celyn Jones and Joe Bone co-wrote the screenplay. Andy Evans (Set Fire to the Stars), Ade Shannon & Sean Marley are producing the project with Butler & Alan Siegel (Law Abiding Citizen, Olympus Has Fallen) and Jason Seagraves and Maurice Fadida. Wallfisch has previously collaborated with Nyholm on 2005’s mini-series The Enfield Haunting. Keepers is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2018.
Wallfisch’s other recent projects include It and Blade Runner 2049, both of which are currently playing in theaters.
