Trevor Morris has been tapped to score the upcoming NBC drama Emerald City. The show executive produced by David Schulner (Do No Harm), Shaun Cassidy (Invasion) & Matt Arnold (Siberia) is inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz and follows a 20-year-old Dorothy Gale and her K9 police dog who are transported to a mystical land of competing kingdoms, lethal warriors, dark magic and a bloody battle for supremacy. Tarsem Singh (The Cell, Mirror Mirror) who previously collaborated with the composer on 2011’s Immortals is set to direct all episodes. The project produced by Universal Television has been picked up for a 10-episode season. No premiere date has been announced yet for Emerald City. Visit the official show website for updates.
