Königskinder Music will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Fencer (Miekkailija). The album features the film’s original music composed by Gert Wilden Jr.. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 10, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. The Fencer is directed by Klaus Härö and marks the Finnish entry for the Best Foreign Language category at the next Academy Awards. The movie starring Lembit Ulfsak, Mart Avandi, Ursula Ratasepp, Ann-Lisett Rebane, Piret Kalda and Liisa Koppel tells the true story of Endel Nelis, an Estonian Fencing coach who established a school in the Soviet 1950s that still trains fencers to this day. The drama was released in Finland and Estonia earlier this year and is being released in various other international territories over the next couple of months. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
