H. Scott Salinas is composing the music for the upcoming NBC drama Allegiance. The show is created by George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau) and stars Hope Davis, Scott Cohen, Gavin Stenhouse, Margarita Levieva, Morgan Spector, Kenneth Choi and Alex Peters. The series follows a young idealistic CIA analyst specializing in Russian affairs whose parents and sister are part of a dormant Russian sleeper cell that has just been reactivated. Nolfi is also executive producing the Universal Television, Keshet Media and Yes! production with Avi Nir (Homeland, Tyrant), Ron Leshem, Amit Cohen, Giyora Yahalom, Yona Wiesenthal, John Glenn (Hatfield & McCoys, Eagle Eye) and Rashad Raisani. The composer whose previous scoring credits include the series The Assets and the documentaries The Square and Happy Valley also has scored the upcoming thriller Zipper. The film is directed by Mora Stephens and stars Patrick Wilson, Lena Headey, Richard Dreyfuss, Ray Winstone, John Cho and Dianna Agron. Stephens has also written the screenplay with Joel Viertel. The movie follows a charismatic federal prosecutor and devoted family man whose political star is on the rise who hooks up with a high-class escort service, which swiftly escalates into a reckless sexual compulsion. Mark Heyman is producing the project with Bryan Wright, Viertel, Marina Grasic and Amy Mitchell-Smith. Darren Aronofsky is among the film’s executive producers. Zipper is set to premiere this coming week at the Sundance Film Festival.
