boardwalk-empire(UPDATED on October 22, 2014 with complete track list:) ABKCO Records will release a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series Boardwalk Empire. The Volume 3 album features new versions of 1920’s and 1930’s songs performed by such artists as Elvis Costello, Regina Spektor, David Johansen, Loudon Wainwright III, cast members Margot Bingham (Daughter Maitland) and Stephen DeRosa (Eddie Cantor) and Boardwalk Empire house band Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks. The soundtrack will be released on October 27, 2014. A CD version is set to be released on January 13, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released the Volume 2 soundtrack, while Elektra/Asylum Records released the first soundtrack album. Boardwalk Empire executive produced by Terence Winter and Martin Scorsese stars Steve Buscemi as Enoch “Nucky” Thompson, Atlantic City’s undisputed czar at a time when Prohibition proved to be a major catalyst. The show’s fifth and final season currently airs every Sunday night on HBO.
