Music Box Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama United Passions. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jean-Pascal Beintus who has served as an orchestrator for composer Alexandre Desplat over the past decade. The soundtrack is now available digitally on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. United Passions stars Gérard Depardieu as Jules Rimet, the man who created the World Cup and served as FIFA president from 1921 to 1954. Tim Roth plays Sepp Blatter and Sam Neill as João Havelange, the body’s seventh president. Also starring is Thomas Kretschmann as Adidas founder Horst Dassler, as well as Fisher Stevens as Carl Hirschmann. The film directed by Frederic Auburtin premiered last month at the Cannes Film Festival and is being released in several countries this month.
