Mario Grigorov is composing the score for the upcoming Lifetime original movie Petals on the Wind. The film is a sequel to Flowers in the Attic, which also featured a score by the composer, and stars Heather Graham, Ellen Burstyn and Dylan Bruce who will reprise their roles from the original. They are joined by Rose McIver, Wyatt Nash, Bailey Buntain and Will Kemp. The drama is set ten years after the first film and follows the family as they attempt to put their sordid past behind them, but tragedy strikes again, forcing Cathy to confront her grandmother and seek revenge on her mother. Merideth Finn & Michele Weiss are executive producing the project with Charles W. Fries, Rob Sharenow, Tanya Lopez and Lisa Hamilton Daly. Kayla Alpert has written the teleplay and Karen Moncrieff is directing. Petals on the Wind is set to premiere on May 26, 2014 on Lifetime.
