WAZ is scoring the upcoming Fox comedy Surviving Jack. The show is created by Justin Halpern & Patrick Schumacker ($#*! My Dad Says) and stars Christopher Meloni, Connor Buckley, Rachael Harris, Claudia Lee, Kevin Hernandez and Tyler Foden. The series based on Justin Halpern’s autobiographical book I Suck at Girls is set in 1990s Southern California and follows an ex-military man and no-nonsense guy who becomes a full-time parent when his wife decides to go to law school. Halpern and Schumacker are also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and Doozer production with Bill Lawrence (Spin City, Scrubs) and Jeff Ingold WAZ is best known as a singer/songwriter and for his solo records. He has previously composed the theme and co-scored ABC’s Lawrence-produced comedy Cougar Town. Surviving Jack is set to premiere in the spring of 2014 following American Idol‘s result shows on Fox.
