‘Savannah’ Soundtrack Released

savannahKonsonant Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama Savannah. The album features the film’s original score composed by Gil Talmi who recorded his music with a live orchestra at East West Studios in Los Angeles. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Audio clips are embedded after the jump. Savannah is directed by Annette Haywood-Carter and stars Jim Caviezel, Sam Shepard, Bradley Whitford, Jaimie Alexander, Hal Halbrook, Jack McBrayer and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The movie is based on John Eugene Cay Jr.’s book Ward Allen: Savannah River Market Hunters and follows a man in the 1900s who leaves behind a life of privilege in Savannah to live off the land with a freed slave. The film will be released theatrically in select cities this Friday, August 23 by Ketchup Entertainment, followed by a released on VOD and DVD on September 24.
