Premiering tonight is the new Lifetime drama Devious Maids created by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives) and starring Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Edy Ganem, Judy Reyes, Brett Cullen, Brianna Brown, Drew Van Acker and Susan Lucci. The show’s score is composed by Edward Shearmur (The Count of Monte Cristo, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow). The drama follows five maids with ambition and dreams of their own while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Devious Maids will air every Sunday night on Lifetime. Also premiering tonight is the new crime drama Crossing Lines created by Edward Allen Bernero and starring William Fichtner, Marc Lavoine, Gabriella Pession, Tom Wlaschiha, Moon Dailly, Richard Flood and Donald Sutherland. The show follows a unit mandated by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate cross-border crimes and ultimately bring global criminals to justice. The show’s original music is composed by Guillaume Roussel who has previously scored numerous French TV projects and feature films, including last year’s Les seigneurs and who also collaborated with Hans Zimmer on a number of projects, including Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Premiering tomorrow, June 24 is the new CBS drama Under the Dome based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, King, Neil Baer , Brian K. Vaughan, Stacey Sneider, Justin Falvey & Darryl Fran and starring Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Colin Ford, Natalie Martinez, Alexander Koch, Britt Robertson, Nicholas Strong, Jolene Purdy, Aisha Hinds and Dean Norris. W.G. Snuffy Walden (The West Wing, The Stand) is the composer of the limited 13-episodes series, which is set in Chester’s Mill, a small New England town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. Premiering on Saturday, June 29, is the Lifetime original movie Anna Nicole directed by Mary Harron (American Psycho) and starring Agnes Bruckner, Martin Landau, Adam Goldberg, Virginia Madsen, Cary Elwes and Graham Patrick Martin. John Rice and Joe Batteer (Blown Away, Chasers) wrote the screenplay for the biographical drama about late actress and Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith. Zack Ryan who has previously scored Lifetime’s Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy and collaborated with composer Deborah Lurie on numerous project has composed the film’s original score.
