Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Park Chan-wook’s psychological trailer Stoker. The album features the film’s original score composed by Clint Mansell, an original song by Emily Wells and additional music by Philip Glass. The soundtrack will be released on February 26, 2013. Stoker starring Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney and Jacki Weaver centers on a teenage girl who must deal with the unexpected appearance of a mysterious uncle following the death of her father. In related news, Mansell will perform selections from his work at two debut shows in New York at the Church of Saint Paul The Apostle on April 3 & 4, 2013. Following his sold-out show in Los Angeles this spring, the composer will also perform on April 6, 2013 at the Orpheum Theatre in Downtown LA. The concerts will feature the composer’s music from Requiem for a Dream, Pi, The Fountain, Last Night, Moon, as well as the world premiere performance of his Stoker score.
