  1. Robert Simone says:

    This is gonna be awesome

  2. David says:

I totally didn’t expected it. But he’s perfect, he’ll keep the same style of the two previous scores, but with his own sound.

  3. Machionic says:

As soon as he “liked” Iron Man page on Facebook I knew something is going on.

I don’t like the idea of changing main themes in every movie, that’s simply annoying, but as a huge Tyler fan can’t really complain either.

    • ASFan says:

Iron Man hasn’t had much of a real theme yet. So Tyler can succeed where the others have failed.

      • Macejko says:

You are wrong. Ramin Djawadi composed a great theme.

        • David says:

Debney wrote a theme (a homage to Goldsmith’s Total Recall), though Marvel didn’t let him use it in the movie (but it’s in the CD).

  4. sean says:

this should be good, loved his scores for Final Destination 5 and Fast 5

  5. BrianT-Fan says:

i’m not a huge fan of IronMan franchise but having Brian Tyler on board for the music department makes me interested with how it would turned out. I like Dwadi’s other works but his work on IM is forgettable. J. Debney made a good score but is hardly heard being overpowered with all those sfx and his theme didn’t even make it in the film and that’s a shame because it could have been good. i have faith in Mr. Tyler’s works and that i’m excited to hear.

    • Machionic says:

Agree with the last sentence. Score was mixed very low.

  6. BrianT-Fan says:

and here i was kinda hoping Brian Tyler would be the next guy to make the score for Captain America 2 should Alan Silvestri moved on with other projects but with him (Tyler) scoring IM i think i’m curious now to see the film on DVD.

  7. Great news. I can’t wait to hear it.

  8. Klee says:

Changing the score of certain theme type movies is sometimes needed to switch things up a bit…, in an effort to prevent the audience from predicting or expecting what is about to occur. As well as not make the audience bored with the same old thing.
