Quartet Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Spanish horror thriller Mientras duermes (Sleep Tight). The album includes the original score by Spanish composer Lucas Vidal (Vanishing on 7th Street) who appears to be having his breakout year in Hollywood in 2012 with two high profile movies coming out this spring, including James McTeigue’s The Raven starring John Cusack and The Cold Light of Day starring Henry Cavill, Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver. The score for Mientras duermes was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. The soundtrack album is available to order on Quartet Records’ website as an import and on Screen Archives in the US. The movie is directed by Jaume Balgueró ([Rec] and [Rec] 2) and stars Luis Tosar (who just received a Goya Award nomination for his lead performance) and Marta Etura. The film opened last October in Spain where it was one of the highest grossing movies of the year and was just released in France last month. A release in Latin America is scheduled for next week.
