Nathan Larson recently scored three movies that premiered at this year’s Sundance film festival and have been picked by major distributors:

Margin Call is a thriller that revolves around the key people at a investment bank over a 24-hour period during the early stages of the financial crisis. The film marks the feature directing debut of J.C. Chandor and stars Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Quinto, Penn Badgley, Simon Baker, Mary McDonnell, Stanley Tucci and Demi Moore. My Idiot Brother is a comedy centered on an idealist who barges into the lives of his three sisters (MARCH 2011 UPDATE: The movie’s title has changed to Our Idiot Brother). The film is directed by Jesse Peretz (First Love, Last Rites, The Ex) and stars Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer, Steve Coogan, Hugh Dancy, Rashida Jones and Shirley Knight. Silent House is a horror film directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lan. Kentis is best known for having previously directed the 2003 horror hit Open Water. Silent House is an English remake of the Uruguayan La Casa Mudastars and stars Elizabeth Olsen, Adam Trese and Eric Scheffer Stevens. The movie follows the tale of a family who returns to their longtime summerhouse after it was violated by squatters in the off-season. Lionsgate has picked up domestic rights for the film for a release later this year.

Also coming up for Larson is the thriller Trust, which premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival. The film centers around a teenage girl that is targeted by an online sexual predator. The film is directed by David Schwimmer and stars Clive Owen, Catherine Keener, Jason Clarke, Noah Emmerich, Viola David and Liana Liberato. Trust is scheduled for a release this April.
