Marcelo Zarvos (Fences, May December, The Equalizer 3, Wonder, EmancipationThe Affair, The Good Shepherd, Ray Donovan) has been tapped to score the upcoming psychological horror thriller The Front Room. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Max Eggers (who co-wrote The Lighthouse with his brother Robert) & Sam Eggers and stars Brandy Norwood, Andrew Burnap, Kathryn Hunter and Neal Huff. The movie is based on Susan Hill’s short story of the same title and follows a young woman whose ailing mother-in-law who who has long been estranged from the family moves in with her and proves to be the house guest from hell. The Eggers Brothers also wrote the screenplay. Lucan Toh (Wounds, Asphalt City), Babak Anvari (Monsterland, Wounds), David Hinojosa (Past Lives, First Reformed) and Julia Oh (Nasty Baby) are producing the Two & Two Pictures and 2AM production. The Front Room will be released in theaters on September 6, 2024 by A24.
