The composer duo of WAZ-JACKSON (aka Jamie Jackson & Waz) is reuniting with writer/producer/director Bill Lawrence on the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Bad Monkey. The show is developed by Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Scrubs) based on the bestselling novel by Carl Hiaasen and stars Vince Vaughn, L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Alex Moffat, Natalie Martinez, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet, Jodie Turner-Smith and Scott Glenn. The 10-part drama follows a former Miami PD officer turned health inspector in the Keys who stumbles upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists and sees an opportunity to prove that he can solve murder. Lawrence and Vaughn are also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Jeff Ingold & Liza Katzer (Shrinking, Whiskey Cavalier), Matt Tarses (Alex, Inc., Teachers), as well as Marcos Siega (You, The Following) who also directed multiple episodes. Jackson & Waz (Bluff City Law, The Village, Egg) have previously collaborated with Lawrence on the shows Cougar Town, Undateable, Life Sentence, Surviving Jack and Rush Hour. Bad Monkey will premiere on August 14, 2024 exclusively on Apple TV+.
