Tenacious D (Jack Black & Kyle Gass) have recorded a new version of the Britney Spears hit song …Baby One More Time for DreamWorks Animation’s sequel Kung Fu Panda 4. The track (originally written by Max Martin) is produced by John Spiker (who co-wrote Black’s original song Peaches from last year’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie) and features an orchestral arrangement by the film’s composers Hans Zimmer & Steve Mazzaro and Òscar Senén. The song is featured during the movie’s end titles sequence and will be included on the movie’s official soundtrack album, which will be released next week by Back Lot Music. Kung Fu Panda 4 is directed by Mike Mitchell, co-directed by Stephanie Ma Stine and stars Black, alongside Viola Davis, Awkwafina, Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, Ian McShane, Bryan Cranston and Ke Huy Quan. The film will be released in theaters nationwide next weekend by Universal Pictures.
