Adem Ilhan (Avenue 5, In the Loop, The Ones Below, Cheaters, The Ghost of Peter Sellers) has provided the original score for the upcoming British Netflix original film The Beautiful Game. The movie is directed by Thea Sharrock (Me Before You, Wicked Little Letters) and stars Bill Nighy, Micheal Ward, Susan Wokoma, Callum Scott Howells, Sheyi Cole, Kit Young, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Robin Nazari, Cristina Rodlo, Aoi Okuyama, Tadashi Watanabe, Kazuhiro Muroyama and Valeria Golino. The sports drama follows a team of English homeless footballers who travel from London to Rome to compete in a global annual football tournament – The Homeless World Cup. Frank Cottrell Boyce (The Railway Man, Goodbye Christopher Robin) wrote the screenplay. Graham Broadbent & Pete Czernin (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, The Banshees of Inisherin) and Ben Knight are producing the project for Blueprint Pictures, alongside Anita Overland and Colin Farrell. The Beautiful Game will premiere on March 29, 2024 exclusively on Netflix.

Ilhan also continues to score the BBC/Showtime series Dreaming Whilst Black, which has been renewed for a second season.
