Evoq Music has released a soundtrack album for the Hulu original documentary We Live Here: The Midwest. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dario Forzato (It Hits You When You Know It, Sharkskin). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack and listen to the composer’s title track below. We Live Here: The Midwest is directed by Melinda Maerker, produced by David Clayton Miller and profiles families who hope to stay in a part of the country they love and have established deep roots: a trans/queer family in Iowa who must find a new community after being expelled from their church; a gay Black couple with a young child in Nebraska; a gay teacher in Ohio who creates a safe space for LGBTQI+ students; a lesbian couple who homeschool their bullied son on a farm in Kansas and a Minnesotan couple who struggles to rebuild their families following both of their transitions. The documentary premiered last week and is now available to stream on Hulu.
