David Holmes (Ocean’s ElevenKilling Eve, Out of Sight, Logan Lucky, HaywireAnalyze That) is the composer of the new BBC drama The Woman in the Wall. The show is written by Joe Murtagh (Calm with Horses) and stars Ruth Wilson and Daryl McCormack. The 6-part gothic thriller follows a woman who wakes one morning to find a corpse in her house, but has no idea who the dead woman is or if she herself might be responsible for the apparent murder. Murtagh and Wilson are also executive producing the Motive Picture production with Simon Maxwell (Deep State, American Odyssey), Sam Lavender, Lucy Richer (Top of the Lake, Mrs. Wilson), as well as Harry Wootliff (True Things, Only You) who also directed multiple episodes.  The Woman in the Wall will premiere in the UK next Sunday, August 27 on BBC One and is set to debut in the U.S. later on Paramount+ with Showtime.

Holmes has also recently scored the Stephen Gerard Kelly- & Garry Keane-directed documentary In the Shadow of Beirut, which premiered at this year’s Doc Edge Festival and is currently awaiting a release date.
