Sony Classical has released the first track from the soundtrack for the supernatural horror movie The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is the title track written by the film’s composer Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Outlander, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane). The Last Voyage of the Demeter is directed by André Øvredal and stars Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, David Dastmalchian, Liam Cunningham, Jon Jon Briones, Nikolai Nikolaeff, Stefan Kapicic and Javier Botet. The DreamWorks Pictures and Amblin Entertainment production will be released in theaters nationwide on August 11 by Universal Pictures.

    As always with a Bear McCreary track and/or score, it contains that awesome, epic feel, and in this case, contains a beautifully tragic bit at the end that perfectly fits the film itself, as well as the source material.
