Adam Price and Peter Gregson have recently recorded their score for the upcoming psychological thriller Apartment 7A. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, His Dark Materials, The LEGO Batman Movie, Black Adam) serves as the score producer of the film directed by Natalie Erika James (Relic) and starring Julia Garner, Dianne Wiest, Marli Siu and Rosy McEwen. No plot details have been announced yet for the movie, which is believed to be a prequel to Roman Polanski’s 1968 classic Rosemary’s Baby based on the novel by Ira Lewin. James also co-wrote the screenplay with Christian White (Clickbait) based on an earlier draft by Skylar James. Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay (The Rock, Transformers, Armageddon), Andrew Form & Brad Fuller (The Purge, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) & are producing the project with Sunday Night Productions’ John Krasinski (A Quiet Place) & Allyson Seeger (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan). Balfe has previously collaborated with Bay on several features, including 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, 6 Underground and Ambulance. Price has been working as part of Balfe’s team in recent years and has provided additional music for such titles as Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Tetris and Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One. Gregson’s other film scoring credits include A Little Chaos and Blackbird. Apartment 7A is expected to be released by Paramount Pictures. No release date has been announced yet.
