WaterTower Music has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1988 drama Stand and Deliver co-written and directed by Ramón Menéndez and starring Edward James Olmos (who received an Academy Award nomination for his performance), Lou Diamond Phillips, Rosanna DeSoto and Andy García. The album features the film’s original music composed by Craig Safan (The Last Starfighter, Cheers, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Major Payne, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Varese Sarabande has previously released the soundtrack on vinyl and CD when the drama opened in theaters and reissued the album as part of the label’s “Encore” series in 2017. Stand and Deliver is now available on VOD and DVD.
