The full details of the latest soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Discovery have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (FargoLegionThe Night Of, Star Trek: Picard, The Umbrella Academy, Lucy in the Sky). Also included is Annabelle Wallis’ rendition of the Harold Arlen- & Ted Koehler-penned song Stormy Weather. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 26 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released multiple albums featuring Russo’s score from Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3. Star Trek: Discovery is developed by Alex Kurtzman & Bryan Fuller and stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Shazad Latif, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Mary Wiseman, Jason Isaacs, Anson Mount, Wilson Cruz, David Ajala, Blu del Barrio, Rachael Ancheril and Tig Notaro. The fourth season of the sci-fi series premiered in late 2021 and early 2022 and is now available to stream on Paramount+. A fifth season is set to debut in 2023.
