Writer/director/producer Tony Cervone has revealed that scoring sessions for the animated feature Scoob! Holiday Haunt have been taking place this weekend at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA, following the cancelation of the movie earlier this week by Warner Bros. Discovery. Dara Taylor (The Tender BarBarb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, Little Ellen, Echo Boomers) is scoring the film directed by Bill Haller & Michael Kurinsky and starring Frank Welker, Iain Armitage, Ariana Greenblatt, Pierce Gagnon and Mckenna Grace. The prequel to 2020’s Scoob! (scored by Tom Holkenborg) follows a 10-year-old Shaggy and his gang as they take Scooby to a holiday-themed resort, where they are forced to solve a mystery. Cervone who directed the 2020 film is producing the project, which was originally set to debut on HBO Max and is currently expected to remain unreleased.

Taylor’s other recent feature projects include Jessica M. Thompson’s The Invitation, which will open in theaters on August 26 and Netflix’s The Noel Diary, which will premiere later this year.
