Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1985 fantasy adventure Red Sonja directed by Richard Fleischer and starring Brigitte Nielsen, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sandahl Bergman, Paul L. Smith and Ronald Lacey. The album features the expanded and remastered original music from the Dino De Laurentiis production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Hateful Eight, Cinema Paradiso), including the content of the original soundtrack album in stereo and the composer’s complete score in mono. Visit the label’s official website for the full track list, to check out audio samples and to order the CD. Red Sonja is now available on VOD and DVD.

The label’s other new releases include a remastered reissue of the Academy Award-nominated original score by Georges Delerue from Mike Nichols’ 1973 thriller The Day of the Dolphin. Click here for more information.
