RAY-ON has released a soundtrack album for the Canadian drama Maria Chapdelaine. The album features the film’s original music composed by Philippe Brault (The Fireflies Are Gone, Drunken Birds). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Maria Chapdelaine is written and directed by Sébastien Pilote and stars Sara Montpetit, Sébastien Ricard, Hélène Florent, Émile Schneider, Robert Naylor and Antoine Olivier Pilon. The movie is based on Louis Hémon’s 1913 romance novel of the same title and follows a teen in rural Quebec must decide her future by choosing one of three suitors. The drama opened in Canadian theaters last month. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
