Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Discovery. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Picard, Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, Lucy in the Sky, The Umbrella Academy). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. The label has previously released two soundtracks featuring Russo’s score from Season 1 and an album featuring the composer’s music from Season 2. Star Trek: Discovery is developed by Alex Kurtzman & Bryan Fuller and stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, James Frain, Shazad Latif, Jason Isaacs, Mary Wiseman, Wilson Cruz and Anson Mount. The third season is now streaming on Paramount+ and a fourth season is expected to premiere in late 2021.
