David Schwartz (Arrested Development, Northern Exposure, Lady Dynamite, Veep, Standing Up, Falling Down) is scoring the new Peacock original series Rutherford Falls. The show is created by Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation, Master of None), Ed Helms & Sierra Teller Ornelas and stars Helms himself, Jana Schmieding, Michael Greyeyes, Jesse Leigh and Dustin Milligan. The comedy revolves around two lifelong best friends who find themselves at a crossroads – quite literally – when their sleepy town gets an unexpected wakeup call. Schur, Helms & Teller Ornelas are also executive producing the Universal Television production with Mike Falbo (Coffee & Kareem, Corporate Animals), David Miner and Morgan Sackett (Wine Country, Moxie). Schwartz has previously scored the Schur-created & -produced NBC comedy The Good Place. Rutherford Falls will premiere on April 22, 2021 exclusively on Peacock.
