Alex Wurman (March of the Penguins,Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Talladega Nights) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming Netflix original movie Between Two Ferns: The Movie. The film is directed by Scott Aukerman and stars Zach Galifianakis, Ryan Gaul, Lauren Lapkus and Jiavani Linayao. The comedy is based on Funny or Die’s Between Two Ferns talk show and follows a version of Galifianakis who – together with his loyal crew – takes a road trip to complete a series of high-profile celebrity interviews in order to restore his reputation. Aukerman & Galifianakis also co-wrote the screenplay and are producing the project with Funny Or Die’s Caitlin Daley and Mike Farah (Brockmire). Between Two Ferns: The Movie will premiere on September 20, 2019 exclusively on Netflix.
Wurman’s other recent projects include the Epix original series Perpetual Grace, LTD, which currently airs every Sunday night, as well as Josh Duhamel’s directorial debut The Buddy Games, which is currently awaiting a release date.
