Jeff Beal has composed the music for the upcoming documentary The Bleeding Edge. The film is directed by Academy Award nominee Kirby Dick (The Hunting Ground, The Invisible War, This Film is Not Yet Rated) and follows the personal stories of those affected by medical technology gone wrong, giving voice to injured victims and uncovering frightening instances of corporate malpractice and the complex legal loopholes that have allowed them to go unpunished. Amy Ziering and Amy Herdy are producing the project. The Bleeding Edge will premiere this coming weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix later this year.

Beal’s other recent scoring projects include George Gallo’s Bigger, Rob Reiner’s Shock and Awe (which will be released in theaters this summer) and the documentaries The Price of Everything and Generation Wealth (to be released on July 20, 2018 by Amazon Studios).
