Garth Stevenson revealed in a recent interview with Film Music Magazine that he is currently scoring the upcoming dramatic thriller Them That Follow. The film is written and directed by Brittany Poulton & Daniel Savage and stars Olivia Colman, Alice Englert, Thomas Mann, Kaitlyn Dever, Jim Gaffigan and Walton Goggins. The movie is set deep in the wilds of Appalachia, where believers handle poisonous snakes to prove their righteousness before God. Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel (Olympus/London Has Fallen, Den of Thieves) and Danielle Robinson are producing the project for G-BASE, alongside Bradley Gallo & Michael Helfant (The Call, Mr. Right) for Amasia. Them That Follow is currently in post-production. No word yet on a premiere date.

Stevenson whose previous scoring credits include Tracks, Ten Thousand Saints and Chappaquiddick, which is currently playing in theaters, also has the drama The Grizzlies coming up. The film marks the directorial debut of producer Miranda de Pencier (Beginners, Thanks for Sharing) and stars Ben Schnetzer. The movie tells the true story of high school teacher Russ Sheppard, who arrived in a struggling Arctic community and started a lacrosse league. Moira Walley-Beckett (Breaking Bad) and Graham Yost (The Americans) have written the screenplay. De Pencier is also producing the project with Zanne Devine (Easy A), Damon D’Oliveira, Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril. The Grizzlies is expected to premiere later this year.
