Michael Brook has recently composed the music for the upcoming indie drama Giant Little Ones. The film is written and directed by Keith Behrman (Flower & Garnet) and stars Maria Bello, Josh Wiggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Darren Mann, Taylor Hickson and Peter Outerbridge. The movie revolves around the lives of two popular teenage boys and best friends since childhood whose lives and families are surprisingly upended after an unexpected incident occurs on the night of a 17th birthday party. Allison Black (Mean Dreams, Citizen Gangster) is producing the project. Giant Little Ones is expected to premiere later this year.
Brook (Brooklyn, Into the Wild, The Fighter, Stronger, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Vow) has also recently scored the drama My Days of Mercy starring Ellen Page & Kate Mara. The movie premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and is currently awaiting a domestic distribution deal.
