Marco Beltrami, Marcus Trumpp and Brandon Roberts have recently scored the upcoming horror comedy Little Evil. The film is written and directed by Eli Craig (Tucker and Dale vs Evil) and stars Adam Scott, Evangeline Lilly, Donald Faison, Chris D’Elia, Bridget Everett, Clancy Brown, Brad Williams, Marcus Terrell Smith,and Tyler Labine. The movie follows a man who has just married the woman of his dreams, only to discover that her six-year-old son may be the Antichrist. Scott Stuber (Ted, Central Intelligence, Role Models) is producing the Bluegrass Films and Mandalay Pictures production with Dylan Clark (Rise/Dawn of the Planet the Apes) and Jason Michael Berman (The Birth of a Nation, Seven Days in Utopia). Little Evil is expected to premiere later this year on Netflix.
Beltrami has previously scored the Angelina Jolie-directed Netflix original movie First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers, which is also expected to premiere this fall. His upcoming projects also include the Russian drama Matilda and the Spike TV event mini-series Waco. The composer and Roberts are also co-scoring AMC’s Turn: Washington’s Spies, which currently airs in its fourth and final season every Saturday night. Beltrami, Trumpp and Roberts have previously shared scoring credit on the horror sequel The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death.
