steven-priceSteven Price revealed in a recent interview with Collider that he has started work on Edgar Wright’s upcoming action crime comedy Baby Driver. No details about his exact involvement are known yet as the composer calls the project “not a traditionally scored film.” The movie written and directed by Wright (Shaun of the DeadScott Pilgrim vs. the World) stars Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm, Jon Bernthal, Sky Ferreira and Kevin Spacey. The movie follows a young, talented getaway driver who is being being coerced into working for a crime boss and must face the consequences when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom. Eric Fellner & Tim Bevan (Atonement, RushLove ActuallyTinker Tailor Soldier Spy) are producing the project for Working Title Films, alongside Nira Park (Hot FuzzPaul) for Big Talk Productions. Price has previously collaborated with Wright on his last feature The World’s End, as well as Attack the Block, which the filmmaker produced. Baby Driver is set to be released on March 17, 2017 by Universal Pictures.

Price’s latest project, Suicide Squad, is currently playing in theaters nationwide and his score is being released today by WaterTower Music.
