MovieScore Media has released soundtrack albums for the Danish thrillers The Keeper of Lost Causes, The Absent One and A Conspiracy of Faith. The albums feature the original music of the first two parts in the Department Q series composed by Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Kon-Tiki, In a Better World), Uno Helmersson & Patrik Andrén and the score for the third installment composed by Nicklas Schmidt. All three soundtracks are now available digitally. The movie series is directed by Mikkel Norgaard & Hans Petter Moland and star Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Fare Fare as detective Carl Mørck and his assistant, Assad. The films are based on Jussi Adler-Olsen’s Department Q series of novels and were adapted by Nikolaj Arcel (The Dark Tower, A Royal Affair). The Keeper of Lost Causes premiered in 2013 in Denmark and other European markets, followed by The Absent One in 2014 and A Conspiracy of Faith earlier this year. All three titles will be released in the U.S. on June 17 by Sundance Selects/IFC Films.
