feltenstein-nauAndrew Feltenstein and John Nau are set to reteam with director Bryan Buckley on the upcoming comedy drama Where the White Man Runs Away. The film is written and directed by Buckley and stars Evan Peters, Al Pacino, Barkhad Abdi and Melanie Griffith. The movie is based on the book The Pirates of Somalia by Jay Bahadur and tells the true story of the rookie journalist who forms a half-baked plan to embed himself among the pirates of Somalia and ultimately succeeded in providing the first close-up look into who these men are, how they live, and the forces that drive them. Feltenstein and Nau have previously scored Buckley’s comedy The Bronze, which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival and was released in theaters earlier this year. Where the White Man Runs Away is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year on in 2017.

The composers’ other upcoming projects also include The House starring Will Ferrell & Amy Poehler.
