Jim Dooley is composing the score for the upcoming comedy Fifty Shades of Black. The movie is directed by Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) and stars Marlon Wayans, Kalli Hawk, Affion Crockett, Fred Willard, Mike Epps, Andrew Bachelor, Jane Seymour and Florence Henderson. The film is a parody of this year’s hit drama Fifty Shades of Grey and E.L. James’ novel of the same title. Wayans has also written the screenplay with Rick Alvarez (White Chicks, Littleman, Dance Flick). Both are also producing the IM Global and Baby Way production. Dooley whose previous scoring credits include Pushing Daisies, Obsessed and When a Stranger Calls also has the horror thriller Satanic coming up. The composer is also expected to return to co-score next year’s third season of TNT’s The Last Ship.
