Sara Quin, member of the pop duo Tegan and Sara, is making her film scoring debut on the upcoming indie comedy drama The Intervention. The film is written and directed by Clea DuVall and stars Melanie Lynskey, Cobie Smulders, Alia Shawkat, DuVall herself, Natasha Lyonne and Ben Schwartz. The movie takes place during a weekend getaway for four couples that takes a sharp turn when one of the couples discovers the entire trip was orchestrated to host an intervention on their marriage. David Bernon & Sam Slater (Results, Adult Beginners, Drinking Buddies) and Sev Ohanian are producing the project. The Intervention will premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival.
