Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for Michael Winterbottom’s The Face of an Angel. The album features the film’s original music composed by Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, A Might Heart, Welcome to the Punch). Also included is Mi Fido Di Te performed by Lorenzo “Jovanotti” Cherubini. The soundtrack will be released overseas on March 30, 2015 and is now available as an import on Amazon. No word yet on a domestic release date. The Face of an Angel stars Daniel Brühl, Kate Beckinsale, Valerio Mastandrea and Cara Delevingne. The movie tells the story of the killing of British student Meredith Kercher in Italy and the resulting trial of her flatmate, American student Amanda Knox. The thriller premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and is being released in the UK this month. Screen Media Films has picked up domestic distribution rights and is planning a release later this year.
