The cover art of the soundtrack album for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming sci-fi monster movie Pacific Rim has been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Clash of the Titans). The soundtrack is now scheduled to be released digitally on June 25, 2013 by WaterTower Music and is available for pre-order on Amazon. Pacific Rim starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi and Ron Perlman is set in the future where soldiers piloting giant robots battle against giant monsters who have mysteriously risen five miles beneath the ocean. Calling Del Toro a sell out is ridiculous. He made 2 Hellboy movies. He makes the movies he wants.

Pretty goofy comment considering this is an original movie and a passion project of his own. Whereas Hellboy was based off a comic book and he’s done two of those movies.
