Jonathan Goldsmith has recently recorded his score for the psychological thriller Compulsion. The film is directed by Egidio Coccimiglio and stars Heather Graham and Carrie-Anne Moss as  two neighbors dealing with obsessions that have taken over each of their lives. Joe Mantegna and Kevin Dillon are co-starring Floyd Byars (Masterminds) has written the screenplay based on the South Korean film 301, 302 and Gary Howsam (The Tudors) and Bill Marks are producing the project. Goldsmith has previously worked with the producers on the 2010 comedy biopic Casino Jack. Compulsion has been picked up by Dimension Films for domestic distribution. A release in 2013 is expected.

Goldsmith has also collaborated with producers Howsam and Marks on the action thriller A Dark Truth. The film is written and directed by Damian Lee (King of Sorrow) and stars Andy Garcia as a former CIA operative turned political talk show host, who is hired by a corporate whistle blower to expose her company’s cover-up of a massacre in a South American village. Kim Coates, Deborah Kara Unger, Eva Longoria and Forest Whitaker are co-starring in the movie. A Dark Truth is set to be released on VOD on November 29, 2012 and a limited theatrical release is planned for January 4, 2013 by Magnolia Pictures.
