‘End of Watch’ Soundtrack Released

Relativity Music Group has released the official soundtrack album for the action thriller End of Watch. The album features selections from the film’s original score composed by David Sardy (Zombieland, 21), as well as the tracks Lisa’s Coming by the Latin Rascals, Harder Than You Think by Public Enemy, and Hey! Love by The Delfonics. The soundtrack has been released digitally today and is now available to download on Amazon. Check out audio clips from all tracks on the release after the jump. End of Watch is written and directed by David Ayer (Street Kings, screenwriter of Training Day) and stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena as two officers from the Los Angeles Police Department who discover that they are being hunted by members of a drug cartel. Anna Kendrick, Natalie Martinez, America Ferrera, Frank Grillo, David Harbour and Cody Horn are co-starring. The film recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and will be released nationwide this Friday, September 21 by Open Road Films.     That Public Enemy track sets the tone early on in the movie. That’s the first real hitter they’ve had in a while. Paris laid the track for them and helped get back that classic PE sound…. and the lyrics touch on the precarious relationship between the hood and the police. this soundtrack has something for everyone and is consistently dark and intense; just like the movie. Love it.

    After Gyllenhaal untapes the kids, the movie cuts to Jake on a roof, doing jumping jacks, thinking about the duct taped kids in the closet.
    A song plays over this scene…at about the 23 minute mark.
    What is that song? Can’t find it anywhere.
