Sony Music will be releasing a soundtrack album for the French comedy Haute Cuisine (Les saveurs du palais). The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley). The soundtrack will be released in France on September 17, 2012. Click here to listen to audio clips of all 14 tracks on the album. Haute Cuisine directed by Christian Vincent and starring Catherine Frot and Jean D’Ormesson follows a renowned chef who is appointed by President François Mitterrand as his personal cook. The movie will be released in France on September 19. The Weinstein Company has acquired domestic rights for the film, but no release date has been announced yet.
