Kraft-Engel Management, one of the industry’s leading talent agencies specializing in music for film and stage has just launched its official new website, which features audio clips from its large roster of composers, as well as biographies and a credits list of each of the agency’s clients. Several major upcoming scoring assignments have been revealed or confirmed by the site, among them Danny Elfman‘s involvement in Blue Sky Studios’ upcoming animated feature film Leafmen. The movie directed by Chris Wedge is based on the book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs by William Joyce about a troop of bugs that try to save a garden and have to battle an evil spider queen. The project is produced by James V. Hart (screenwriter of Hook, Contact and August Rush) and William Joyce (Robots). Elfman has previously worked on the Disney animated film Meet the Robinson, which was also based on a book by Joyce. Leafmen marks his first collaboration with Blue Sky Studios and Chris Wedge whose previous two major features have been scored by David Newman (Ice Age) and John Powell (Robots). The movie is set for a release on May 17, 2013 by 20th Century Fox.
