The composer duo tomandandy has been chosen to provide the score for the upcoming sequel Resident Evil: Afterlife. The movie marks director Paul W.S. Anderson’s return to the directing chair to the franchise after he only wrote and produced the last two parts in the series. His original Resident Evil movie featured a score by Marco Beltrami and Marilyn Manson. The sequel Resident Evil: Apocalypse was scored by Jeff Danna, while Resident Evil: Extinction received a score by Charlie Clouser. The fourth part of the series is the first entry for tomandandy and stars once again Milla Jovovich, as well as Wentworth Miller and Ali Larter. Screen Gems is planning to release the movie on September 10. For the first time in the series, the movie will be released in 3D.

Tomandandy also has the horror thriller And Soon the Darkness coming up. In the movie, two American girls on a bike trip in a remote part of Argentina split up and one of them goes missing. And Soon the Darkness is directed by Marcos Efron and stars Amber Heard, Karl Urban and Odette Yustman. A release is expected later this year.
